The Films and Genres that Appeal to Me

The genres of film that appeal to me are; chick flicks, musicals, actions and  thrillers. I like these genres of film because i find them enjoyable, i find them enjoyable because I find many of the story line interesting and easy to follow, also i believe that the characters within the films also help carry the story lines without going off on tangents keeping the audience interested in the film. I enjoy many action films because I find the story  lines interesting but sometimes hard to follow which i find interesting because I  have to watch them a number of times to help me understand the story line, I believe that the unusual story lines are what keep audiences interested in the films.

The films that appeal to me most are films such  as; Mean Girls, Inception, The Harry Potter Series, The Hunger Games Series,  Hairspray, Les Miserable, Lion King, Nemo and  Pocahontus. These films appeal to me  because i find the story lines interesting and enjoyable, I believe  that most of these story lines are easy to follow which will keep most audiences interested in the films. I also believe that the characters in the films help to keep the films interesting as they help carry the story line. I enjoy the film Inception because the  story line and the content of the film are complicated and are difficult to follow but this works to the advantage of the film makers because audiences want to watch the film again and again so they are able to grasp the concept of the film, after watching the film a number of times audiences including myself will become hooked on the  story line and will enjoy the film so much more now they have grasped the complicated story line of the  film.

The genres I like are musical, girly films, rom-com, Disney films and thriller; however, I dislike films from the genres horror, action, comedy and mystery. I like those genres on films because I find them entertaining and enjoyable, I dislike those certain genres because they bore me and I find them un-interesting.
My favourite genres are musicals and Disney films, this is because I find them the most entertaining and enjoyable, I also like these genres because the story lines are usually very easy to follow and can be watched numerous times without becoming irritable or boring.

My Top 10 Films:

Inception – This film appeals to me because I find the story line interesting, also when I first watched the film I found the film very hard to grasp, so I had to watch it a number of times to be able to understand it, but time after time I found it more and more enjoyable.
The Harry Potter Series – These films appeal to me because I enjoyed reading the books and so found the films interesting.
Nemo – This film to me because I have enjoyed it since I was younger and it never gets boring.

Lion King – This film appeals to me because I have loved it since I was a child and I never get bored of it.
Pirates of the Caribbean – This film appeals to me because I believe the actors in it help carry the story well, also the films action helps keep me watching it time and time again.
Legally Blonde – This film appeals to me because I loved the story line that is carried out throughout the film.
The Hunger Games Series – These films appeal to me because I enjoy the story line of the film and I believe that actors within the film help build around the story to make the film interesting.
Lady and The Tramp – This film appeals to me because I have enjoyed the story every time I have watched it and it never gets boring.
Romeo and Juliet – This film appeals to me because the actors within the film help create a good atmosphere throughout the film and the setting also helps the film keep the watcher focused on what is happening.
Woman In Black – This films appeals to me because I enjoy the fright element it creates as soon as it starts and how it continues throughout the film.
